i really like this photo. It's one i hadn't seen before. I keep referring back to it - thinking i'll come up with something insightful or witty - but instead...i wonder what happened to the dog, and wonder if it was one in a seemingly endless string of dogs named Chevas, who would disappear under mysterious circumstance, and reappear a short time later....as a different breed........... hmmmmmm
Yea we bought him a ticket on a Greyhound and packed him a little lunch....put a kerchief on his neck.....told him to write when he got work....waved by by at the station...and never heard directly from him again....but word on the street was he hooked up with a fine bitch from the SPCA.....they moved to Hollywood....got into show business ...did a few commercials and a guest spot on Return of Lassie...and live in a rent control trailer park in Thousand Oaks, CA....and seldom get off the porch........

That Chevas traveled to Idaho, and ran away during a thunder storm. I think he was (or she) the last in a long line of Chevas Dogs.
