Ok so its only $0.14..but never let them get you.

Dear Ribhard,

Case ID: 8675309
Pay To: City of Gulfport
Scheduled Payment Date: November 17, 2009
Amount: $9.24

Thank you for your recent inquiry regarding a fee charged to your City of Gulfport account due to this Online Banking Bill Pay item posting late. We appreciate the opportunity to service your banking needs.

We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

On December 7, 2009, we verified that this payment was scheduled with all correct payment information.

We also confirmed that your account was charged a late fee of $0.14. City of Gulfport would not grant our request to waive this fee. We have taken care of this by crediting $0.14 into your bank account from which payment was made. Be advised that you will still need to submit this fee to City of Gulfport. Please allow 1-2 business days for these funds to reflect in your account.

Once again, We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Sincerely,
Ms. Joann Appletree

I like that Bank of America will pay postage to send you the documentation (of man hours spent) in pursuit of that 14 cents.

yea, yea, I know it's the principle of the thing - that is why I am NOT applying for the principal's position at my school next year.
